Aimee Sinclair is an actress with fast-rising fame. Everyone thinks they know who she is, but she has more dark secrets than anyone could imagine. Psychological thrillers have never been a favourite of mine but for spooky season I wanted to try a few highly recommend ones. I did enjoy this one but it was pretty messed up, which is why it’s a psychological thriller. The writing was really good. I enjoyed the author’s writing style. The story was definitely fitting to the genre and it had me guessing all throughout until the reveal. And I certainly did not see it coming. There were lots of wild and unexpected twists and turns that made it hard to put the book down. There was a good build up of intensity and mystery, making it suspenseful. And while this book was good, it hasn’t converted me into a psychological thriller lover. But I’d definitely recommend it to lovers of the genre and lovers of dark and twisted stories.
