Aimee Sinclair is an actress with fast-rising fame. Everyone thinks they know who she is, but she has more dark secrets than anyone could imagine. The only problem is, they are not so secret to everyone. Someone knows who she is and what those secrets she hides are, and they are using them against her. Soon, Aimee discovers her husband has gone missing, and she becomes the number one suspect. She now struggles to keep her career and her innocence while someone works hard to bring her down.

Psychological thrillers have never been a favourite of mine but for spooky season I wanted to try a few highly recommend ones. I did enjoy this one but it was pretty messed up, which is why it’s a psychological thriller. The writing was really good. I enjoyed the author’s writing style. The story was definitely fitting to the genre and it had me guessing all throughout until the reveal. And I certainly did not see it coming. There were lots of wild and unexpected twists and turns that made it hard to put the book down. There was a good build up of intensity and mystery, making it suspenseful. And while this book was good, it hasn’t converted me into a psychological thriller lover. But I’d definitely recommend it to lovers of the genre and lovers of dark and twisted stories.
