Spring is here and I’m so happy about it! Spring is my favourite season for so many reasons. For starters, it’s the beginning of beautiful weather. The grass is getting greener, so are trees, flowers are blooming, the temperature is starting to get warmer. Also, I’m a spring baby, so I think it’s a natural feeling to love the season you were born in, at least for me it is!
Today, I am sharing some of my favourite and most recommended spring themed children’s books.

Spring Parade written by Camelia Kay and illustrated by Allyn Howard
This book is absolutely beautiful. The art by Allyn Howard is breathtaking. This is also just a great book to help welcome spring. It highlights all the things we see at the beginning of spring and as spring comes into full bloom.

We love this one. With each page you can watch the tiny seeds grow into something beautiful. This is a very interactive book, so it’s great for toddlers to practice following directions. The illustrations are bold and beautiful and are guaranteed to keep your children’s attention.

I’ve provided purchase links to Amazon Canada for each book. I am not sponsored by or affiliated with Amazon. I just wanted to provide an easy link for anyone who is interested. However, I always recommend buying from your local bookshops. Just ask them if they have these books and they can help you!
